Music Producer, Douglas Hardin, (professionally known as Nola Gates and the Pseudonym #BlaqeBeethoven), began his music career at the age of 14 by playing in a top 40 band called The Black Hole. From the hard work and sacrifice of his mother, Hardin was able to attend Krell Music Institute, a private music school in Santa Monica, Ca. At Krell, Douglas learned to play guitar, drums, piano, horns, and acoustic upright instruments as well as reading and writing music. The exposure helped hone his skills in music and music production. Douglas Hardin is able to write, play and produce music in hip-hop, R&B, pop, gospel, jazz, rock and fusion, just to mention a few.
